Toyota won't appeal Trulli penalty

The Toyota Formula One team have decided not to appeal against the 25-second penalty imposed on Jarno Trulli which cost the Italian third place in last Sunday's season opening Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne.

Trulli appeared on the podium as the third placegetter, but stewards decided he'd illegally passed the fourth placegetter Lewis Hamilton while the safety car was on the track.

Hamilton was promoted to third and Trulli's time penalty dropped him to 12th.

The second round of the world championship is this weekend in Malaysia.
