Chiefs feeling good ahead of next clash

11:45 am on 2 April 2009

The Chiefs are in a reasonably good position heading into another tough stint in the Super 14 rugby competition.

They'll be without their in-form All Black winger Sitiveni Sivivatu for Saturday's match against the Lions in Hamilton after he suffered a shoulder injury last weekend.

The big question mark is whether Sivivatu's absence will stop the Chiefs playing the scintillating rugby they've produced in the last two weeks, in which time they've scored 15 tries.

However coach Ian Foster says it's not all about throwing the ball around and the opposition will determine how they'll play.

Foster will name his team today to meet the Lions with Dwayne Sweeney likely to take Sivivatu's place. However the Fijian-born flier should be right for their next match.
