Two New Zealand records and a World Championship qualifying time have been achieved on the third morning of heats at the New Zealand Open Swim Championships in Christchurch.

Glenn Snyders broke his own record in the 50 breaststroke and Corney Swanepoel reclaimed the national record in the 50 butterfly.

Michael Jack broke the World Championship qualifying mark in the 200 freestyle, he'll need to do it again in tonight's final to secure a trip to Rome in July.
