South Africa turn tables on Australia on one dayers

5:53 am on 6 April 2009

The South African cricketers dramatically turned the tables to beat Australia in their second one day international in Centurion with more than 20 overs to spare, levelling their 5-match series at 1-all.

The 19-year-old left-arm swing bowler Wayne Parnell, playing just his second one dayer for the Proteas, took four wickets for 25, and Dale Steyn four for 27, to help bundle out Australia for 131, after they'd crashed to 40 for 6, and South Africa lost only three wickets in reaching their target.

Game three is in Cape Town on Friday.
