Auckland City have won through to the final of football's O-League with a 3-1 win over defending champions Waitakere United in Henderson.
After breaking a two-year jinx against their neighbours with a 2-1 win in the New Zealand Football Championship last Sunday, City once again displayed impeccable timing to earn a place in the home-and-away final against Koloale FC from the Solomon Islands.
Auckland will travel to Honiara on April 25th then welcome Koloale to Kiwitea Street on May 2nd or 3rd with the prize a place at the 2009 FIFA Club World Cup in Dubai in December.
