The Australian National Rugby League say bans are an option for a group of men who brawled in the carpark at EnergyAustralia Stadium following Sunday's match between Newcastle and Manly.
The fight erupted after the game, won 26-12 by the Knights, leaving two men seriously injured.
Police say parents and children watched as two groups of men fought in the carpark.
Two men, aged 28 and 29, suffered serious injuries when they were allegedly kicked and punched in the face.
Police arrested a 22-year-old man at the scene and charged him with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and assault. Others involved in the brawl may also be charged after a number of witnesses were interviewed by police.
