New Zealand cricketers are struggling to hold on for draw

The New Zealand cricketers are battling to hold on for a draw in the third cricket test against India being played in Wellington.

With a day to play the Black Caps trail India by 450 runs with just six second innnings wickets in hand.

When bad light stopped play early New Zealand were 167 for four with Ross Taylor not out on 69 and James Franklin on 26.

Martin Guptill made 49.... but Tim McIntosh, Daniel Flynn and Jesse Ryder all went cheaply with Ryder out second ball without scoring.

India had earlier declared at 434 for seven setting New Zealand a target of 617.
