Birmingham have strengthened their hold on the second automatic promotion place to the English football Premiership as they beat Championship leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-0 despite being reduced to 10 men.
Goals by Cameron Jerome and Gary O'Connor moved Birmingham to within two points of Wolves with third-placed Reading six points adrift of the victors, though they have a game in hand.
The top two teams in the Championship gain automatic promotion to the Premiership, while the next four teams play off for the third spot.
