New Zealand Cricket says it will consider including captain Dan Vettori and coach Andy Moles on the national selection panel.
Moles has expressed the desire to join former internationals Glenn Turner, Dion Nash and John Wright on the panel.
The CEO of New Zealand Cricket Justin Vaughan says the make up of the panel will be part of the season review, which will be undertaken over the next few weeks.
Vaughan says he doesn't believe there were any glaring selection hiccups that contributed to the loss of the series against India.
He says Moles wasn't part of the current selection panel as the national coach doesn't get to see much of those players outside of the Black Caps squad playing.
With the squad for the Twenty 20 world cup in England in June already named Vaughan says it's not a matter that needs to be resolved immediately.
