The seven times Tour de France cycling champion Lance Armstrong violated anti-doping rules during a random test in southern France, according to the French Anti-Doping Agency.
The agency says Armstrong didn't remain under constant observation of the tester but the 37-year-old, who returned to the sport in January after three and a half years in retirement, denies any wrongdoing.
Armstrong was asked to provide urine, blood and hair samples when returning from a training ride last month.
