Australia losing grip on world cricket supremacy

Australia's losing its grip on world supremacy in one-day cricket after crashing to a 25-run loss in the third game of their five-match series against South Africa in Cape Town.

South Africa now hold a 2-1 lead with the series winner to claim the world's top ranking.

Set 290 to win Australia could only reach 264 for seven in their 50 overs after slumping to 114 for five at one stage.

A B de Villiers top scored with 80 while Jacques Kallis scored a stylish 70, the pair adding 114 for the third wicket.
