Fergie warns Ronaldo not to give the ball away in frustration

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has warned star winger Cristiano Ronaldo that he can't have everything his own way.

The world player of the year has cut a frustrated figure at times this season and was guilty of giving the ball away in the lead-up to goals for Aston Villa and Porto in the last week.

Ronaldo was the key figure in United's march to the Premier League and Champions League double last season but Ferguson has made sure he knows what is expected.

Ferguson says he doesn't accept that Ronaldo or anyone will give goals away just because of the player they are and the Scottish coaching great says he does speak to the Portuguese star about it.

Ferguson says in European football, if the ball's given away, it takes a long time to get it back.
