The injured Australian utility back Todd Byrne has reached an agreement with his Super League club Hull over ending his contract.
The 30-year-old suffered a season-ending knee injury in the second game of Hull's campaign at Celtic Crusaders in February and was out of contract at the end of the year.
Byrne joined Hull from Warriors last year and scored six tries in 22 appearances.
Meanwhile, the West Hull MP and Health Secretary Alan Johnson has lent his support to the club in their attempts to secure visas for Epalahame Lauaki and Michael Crocker
The Warriors forward Lauaki, whose signing was announced in February, has still to hear whether his application has been successful.
The former Melbourne Storm forward Crocker was Hull's marquee signing for 2009 but his initial application for a visa turned down.
