The Blues All Black prop Tony Woodcock has been bracketed at loosehead for Friday night's Super 14 rugby clash with the Highlanders in Auckland.
Woodcock's been out of action with an inner ear infections that's affected his balance and his eyesight.
He's optimistic about his chances of playing but if he can't Tevita Mailau will take his place.
The first choice halfback Taniela Moa has also been bracketed, pending the result of his NZRU disciplinary hearing today.
And Jimmy Gopperth comes in at first-five for Tasesa Lavea who's one of eight players, including All Black forwards John Afoa and Ali Williams, on coach Pat Lam's injury list.
