That's set up a last-four clash with Premier League rivals Arsenal. who crushed the Spanish side Villa Real 3-0 to go through 4-1 on aggregate,.

United is the first English team to win at Porto and remains in on course to win five trophies this season.

After the fireworks across London yesterday when Chelsea scrambled an incredible 7-5 aggregate victory over Liverpool, Arsenal's fans were spared any anxiety in a surprisingly one-sided encounter.

Barcelona host Chelsea on the 29th of April and Arsenal are in Manchester the next day with the second legs a week later.
