Tahu denies he's looking to return to NRL

The Wallabies and New South Wales Waratahs centre Timana Tahu has strongly denied sounding out a return from rugby union to the National Rugby League.

A newspaper report had suggested there had been talks about Tahu returning to NRL with the Sydney Roosters.

But Tahu insists he has no plans to walk out on the Waratahs where he's mostly been used off the bench this season, and remains committed to pursuing a regular place in the Wallabies starting line-up.

Shortly before signing his million-dollar contract with the Asutralian Rugby Union and the Waratahs last year, Tahu bluffed the media into believing he would "never play rugby".

When reminded of that ploy and asked if he was "fair dinkum" about seeing out his rugby contract, Tahu maintains he's happy to see out his contract.
