The New Zealand tennis player Dan King-Turner has won through to the singles quarter-finals at the ITF Futures Tournament in Seogwipo, Korea, with an easy straight-sets win over Kento Takeuchi of Japan.
King-Turner, seeded eighth at the tournament, won 6-1 6-2 and will now face Dylan Seong-Kwan Kim of Korea.
King-Turner's Davis Cup team-mate GD Jones suffered an agonising 7-6 7-5 loss in the round of 16 to second seed Tatsuma Ito.
Next week, King-Turner and Jones will both compete in another ITF event, also in Korea.
