The New Zealand basketball player Sean Marks is hoping to build on what he believes is his best season in the NBA, as his New Orleans Hornets side enter the play-offs.

Marks, who's 33, is in his 9th NBA season and the Hornets face a tough test to get past Northwest Division champions, the Denver Nuggets in a best of seven game series, the first of which is on Monday.

Marks has had more game time this season than any other, but is unsure just how much of a part he'll play in the play offs.

Marks won an NBA championship with the San Antonio Spurs in 2005.
