The former Auckland rugby flanker Daniel Braid has signed for the Llanelli Scarlets on a three-year contract.
The 28-year-old, capped four times for the All Blacks, will leave Australian Super 14 side the Queensland Reds after the current season and join the Welsh region in July.
The move is subject to Braid obtaining a work permit and passing a medical.
The Scarlets' new recruit began his top-flight career at Auckland where he played in the Air New Zealand Cup and - for the Blues - in Super 14.
