Kiwi star Puletua shines as St Helens rout Castleford

New Zealand's Tony Puletua ran in four tries as St Helens extended their lead at the top of the Super League with a crushing 68-22 win over Castleford.

And the Kiwis fullback Brent Webb scored twice for reigning champions Leeds Rhinos, as they thumped high-flying Huddersfield 34-6.

Wigan ran in nine tries to see off the bottom club Celtic Crusaders 44-10.

Hull KR continued their solid start to the season with a 32-12 comeback win at Harlequins while Steven Bell was one of eight Catalans Dragons try scorers as they cruised to a 38-6 victory over Salford City Reds.

And another former Manly star Chris Hicks scored a hat-trick as Warrington thrashed Bradford 58-22 and Wakefield came from behind to beat Hull 21-14.
