The New Zealand softball international Thomas Cameron has been suspended from the game for two months, after testing positive for cannabis.

Cameron returned a positive test in February, when tested during the national softball league.

He admitted the offence at a recent Sports Tribunal hearing, saying he took the drug at a party.

With the softball season already over the Tribunal considered extending the suspension period, however, Cameron had been intending to play overseas but now won't be able to do so until June.
