Penney earns second player of the week award in the space of three weeks

The Breakers shooting guard Kirk Penney has won his second Australian National Basketball League player of the week award in the space of three weeks.

Penney's latest award was for his effort against the Wollongong Hawks in which he scored 23 points, took four rebounds, made two assists and two steals.

The Breakers need to win their two final games against the Gold Coast on Thursday night and Cairns on Saturday to keep alive their chances of making the top four playoffs.
