Blackadder to manage his All Blacks back

Updated at 12:37pm on 10 February 2010

The Crusaders coach Todd Blackadder says there is a chance a number of his All Blacks will start from the bench in their opening Super 14 match against the Highlanders in Christchurch on Saturday night.

All Blacks have only been back with their franchises for 10 days following their christmas break , while skipper Richie McCaw won't be available until about round four after being granted extra time off.

The Crusaders have 8 All Blacks in their squad and Blackadder says he's still deciding on what part they'll play on Saturday.... either starting or from the bench.

Blackadder will name his team tomorrow.

The Hurricanes and Blues will name their sides today for the competitions opening match at Eden Park on Friday night.
