Man. City into 5th place with home win

Manchester City have moved into fifth place in the premier league after defeating relegation threatened Bolton Wanderers 1-0.

Carlos Tevez scored in the first half and Emmanuel Adebayor in the second after linking with the former French captain Patrick Vieira in front of their home crowd at the City of Manchester Stadium.

In other games Portsmouth grabbed a stoppage-time equaliser for a one all home draw with Sunderland in a game featuring three red cards, while Wigan Athletic drew one all with Stoke City.

Fulham had an easy 3-0 victory at home over Burnley.
