The two waring factions in the America's Cup will meet tonight to try and sort out the next regatta.
The Golden Gate Yacht Club and its team, BMW ORACLE Racing, won a New York State Court appeal earlier this month making them the Challenger of Record.
After that ruling the Americans sent holders Alinghi a letter outling 2 proposals for a multi-challenger event in Valencia in 2011 in the new AC33 class.
If something can not be sorted, there is a possibility that Oracle and Alinghi will compete in a 2-boat regatta to decide the next Cup.
The Golden Gate Yacht Club has also asked for a neutral representative be at the meeting which starts in Geneva tonight.
