Late tee time for Danny Lee in pro debut

7:36 am on 23 April 2009

New Zealand's newest professional golfer Danny Lee has a long wait tomorrow before playing his first shots in the paid ranks.

18 year old Lee has been drawn in the second to last group at 1.24pm local time with the young Australian Jason Day and the American Darren Stiles who won last year's New Zealand PGA championship at Clearwater.

New Zealand's only fully exempt PGA tour player, Tim Wilkinson, who tied for 6th in last week's Heritage Classic, is also in the field.
