The New Orleans Hornets, the team of former Tall Black Sean Marks, has closed the gap in their National Basketball Association play-off series with a tight 95-93 home win over Denver.
Chris Paul scored 32 points and passed out 12 assists to lead the Hornets to the win, holding off a late Denver rally to make it 1-2 in their best-of-seven Western Conference series against the Nuggets.
Game four is on Tuesday and game five on Thursday at Denver.
