The All Black coach Graham Henry will take a squad of 32 on the end of year tour, with 26 players to be used for the June home Tests against Italy and France, and 30 in the Tri Nations.
The extended squad's been approved because it looks as if there'll be six matches, starting with a Test against the Wallabies in Japan on October 31 and with talks in progress with Wales for a match in Cardiff the following weekend.
Tests against Italy, France and England will follow before a tour-ending match against the Barbarians at Twickenham.
