Optimum effort needed to calm the Storm

The Warriors go into tonight's round seven NRL clash with the Storm in Melbourne with their confidence boosted by last week's golden point extra time home win over the Sydney Roosters.

They also have one of the league's better records in Melbourne and have won two of their last three games there.

But the hosts have a formidable defence and counter-attacking strike power in the likes of Greg Inglis and Billy Slater, while the Warriors like to play a less structured game with more off-loads.

Their coach Ivan Cleary says that's unlikely to change although there's a bit of rain forecast.
