Cesc Fabregas has been charged with improper conduct in relation to an alleged spitting incident at the end of Arsenal's FA Cup match against Hull City last month.

Hull manager Phil Brown, who has also been charged with improper conduct, told reporters after the match that Spanish midfielder Fabregas had spat at Hull's assistant boss Brian Horton after the final whistle.

Fabregas faces two charges, the other concerning his conduct in running on to the pitch at the end of a match he did not play in.
