Former All Black halfback Justin Marshall has signed to play for another season in England.
Marshall, who played 81 Tests for New Zealand, has signed a new deal with the London club Saracens.
Marshall joined Sarries on a short-term contract in January and the most capped halfback in New Zealand rugby history has impressed incoming Director of Rugby Brendan Venter with his performances, with Venter moving quickly to secure the services of the 35-year-old for next season.
Having been part of the successful Canterbury Crusaders outfit in the Super 14, he moved to England to join Leeds Tykes in 2006/07 before joining Welsh region the Ospreys for the 2007/08 season. Marshall swapped South Wales for the South of France at the start of the current season when he joined Montpellier but when Saracens enquired about his services as cover for the rest of the season following an injury to Neil de Kock, he was released early from his contract in France to allow him to join the Vicarage Road club.
Since then he has made nine appearances for the club and has quickly settled into life with Saracens with a string of fine performances that also included a Man of the Match display in a victory against Wasps last month.
