Auckland City have beaten Koloale 7-2 in the first leg of the Oceania League final at Honiara's Lawson Tama Stadium.
Keryn Jordan scored a second-half hat-trick as City came back from 1-0 down after 10 minutes to take a 3-1 lead at half-time.
About 12,000 watched the game.
Richard Anisua scored both Koloale's goals in the 10th and 76th minutes.
Auckland's goals came from Jordan (3), Paul Urlovic, Ki-Hyung Lee, Ivan Vicelich and Matt Williams
The second leg is in Auckland on May 3.
The winner of the O-League secures Oceania's US$500,000 playoff spot at the FIFA Club World Cup in the United Arab Emirates 9-19 December 2009.
