The Australian women are through to the next round of tennis' Fed Cup.
They grabbed an unassailable 3-nil lead over Switzerland in their World Group Two play-off with a win by their number one, Sam Stosur, in the reverse singles.
Earlier, Stosur defeated Swiss Fed Cup debutante Amra Sadikovic and Jelena Dokic beat Stefanie Voegele, also in straight sets.
The win means the Australian team now advances to the Fed Cup World Group Two section of the competition.
