It was another tough final day for the Wellington golfer Mark Brown who finished in a tie for 19th at the Ballantines Championship in South Korea.

Having shared the lead after the opening round, Brown crashed out of contention in horrendous weather on the third day, and his final round of 74 left him six shots behind the winner.

The title went to Thailand's Thongchai Jaidee who beat the Spaniard Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano and the local Kang Sung-Hoon in a playoff.
