The Canterbury Tactix coach Helen Mahon-Stroud feels New Zealand teams will be competitive against their Australian counterparts, despite all 5 Australian sides scoring wins in round 4 of the trans-tasman competition.
The round was completed last night with the Tactix losing 53-48 in overtime to the Adelaide Thunderbirds in Christchurch and the defending champion New South Wales Swifts beating the Northern Mystics 59-55 in Sydney.
Apart from the Waikato-Bay of Plenty Magic, the other 4 New Zealand sides fill the bottom places on the competition ladder.
Mahon Stroud isn't writing her side off this early in the season....
