The Crusaders rugby coach Todd Blackadder has played down fears over Richie McCaw's latest bout of concussion, saying he doesn't expect it to have any long-term effects on the All Black skipper.
McCaw took a knock to the head against the Cheetahs last week and also cut his forehead in the match against the Sharks the weekend prior.
He was ruled out of the must-win clash with the Lions in Johannesburg but Blackadder says he doubts the incidents are anything more than a coincidence.
