Auckland City clinch O-League final

Auckland City's 2-2 draw to home to Koloale has wrapped up a 9-4 aggregate victory in the final of football's O-League and booked a trip to Abu Dhabi for the FIFA Club World Cup in December.

City started the game with a 7-2 lead from last weekend's Honiara leg, but the Solomon Islands club,

led 1-0 at half-time.

Cty didn't take the lead until Keryn Jordon scored his second goal early in the second half.

The lead didn't last long though with the first half goal scorer Henry Fa'arodo creating a 60th minute equaliser for Lency Saeni.

Koloale pushed hard for a winner but ultimately had to settle for the best result by an a Pacific Islands side in New Zealand since the current format of the OFC Champions League was introduced in 2007.
