Two more All Blacks re-sign with NZRU

The All Black lock Ali Williams and prop Tony Woodcock have extended their contracts with the New Zealand Rugby Union through until 2012.

Williams, who turned 28 last week, made his All Blacks debut against England in November 2002 and the lock has been a regular in the national side since then... he's played 61 Tests for the All Blacks, is currently the third most capped All Blacks lock of all time behind Ian Jones and Chris Jack and has scored seven tries in the black jersey.

28-year-old Woodcock made his All Blacks debut two weeks after Williams, against Wales, in November 2002, and he has played 49 Tests for the All Blacks. He is the fourth-most capped All Blacks prop behind Greg Somerville, Craig Dowd and Olo Brown, with his two tries against Australia in last year's Bledisloe Cup Test in Auckland one highlight in his career to date.

NZRU CEO Steve Tew says it's fantastic that two more senior All Blacks had made a long-term commitment to New Zealand rugby.

They join the likes All Blacks captain Richie McCaw, Rodney So'oialo, Keven Mealamu, Dan Carter, Ma'a Nonu and Andrew Hore to re-sign with the NZRU.
