Ireland has won the A1 GP title after Adam Carroll won the final sprint and feature races of the season at Brands Hatch in southern England.
The British round became the finale of the 2008/09 championship after this month's scheduled season-ender in Mexico was cancelled due to the Swine flu outbreak.
The New Zealand driver Earl Bamber spun off the track in both races and finished 7th overall in the Championship.
