Fit-again Armstrong targets stage victory in Giro

Lance Armstrong is confident he can at least win a stage in this month's Giro d'Italia despite having only just recovered from a broken collarbone.

The seven times Tour de France winner isn't expecting to challenge in the Giro overall but

will be disappointed if he doesn't win one stage and doesn't care if it's a mountain stage or a time trial.

The 37-year-old American returned to cycling in January to promote his Livestrong cancer charity after over three years in retirement and was injured in Spain in March.

He's just completed the Tour of Gila in New Mexico to boost his fitness ahead of his first appearance in the world's second biggest race, which starts in Venice on Sunday and finishes in Rome on May 31.
