Justin Collins out of Blues side for Brumbies match

There's been yet another blow to the injury-wracked Blues with the veteran flanker Justin Collins a late withdrawal from the side for Saturday night's Super 14 rugby match against the ACT Brumbies.

Collins completed a training session in Auckland on Thursday and was in the starting 15 for the match the Blues must win to remain a mathematical chance of making the play-offs.

But coach Pat Lam stood down Collins after he reported a persistent headache to the team's doctor before the squad's departure for Canberra.

Peter Saili will start in the No.6 jersey and newcomer Andrew Van der Heijden will join the 22.
