Argentina's Daniel Vancsik has shot a final round six under 65 to win the Italian Open by six strokes, from American John Daly.
It was two time major winner Daly's best tournament in four years.
New Zealand's Gareth Paddison had a final round two over 73 to slip from 37th place to 54th. He picked up $NZ10,000.
Daly fired a final round 66 for his best result on both tours on the US PGA and European tours, since finishing second in the September 2005 American Express World Golf Championship.
