French tennis star denies cocaine use

French tennis star Richard Gasquet has admitted he has tested positive for cocaine but says he is inncoent.

Gasquet, the world number 23, tested positive for the drug at a tournament in Miami last month. Both his A and B samples have found traces of cocaine.

However, Gasquet, 22, in a stement to French radio says he had given hair samples to an independent laboratory and they showed no trace of cocaine.

Gasquet says he fill fight to prove his innocence. He faces a possible two year ban.

Gasquet pulled out of the Miami tournament claiming at the time he had a shoudler injury.
