Steel hit best performance

The Southern Steel coach Robyn Broughton says her side's 61-52 win over the Northern Mystics at the end of round six in netball's trans-Tasman Championship is their best to date but it could've been better.

Broughton says they showed more patience and commitment in Auckland.

However she says they allowed the Mystics back into the game in the third quarter before winning the fourth by six can't afford to go up and down like that.

The Steel are fifth after the Queensland Firebirds moved into the top four with a 56-53 win over the West Coast Fever in Brisbane.
