Sixteen year old named in under-21 NZ team for world youth champs

Sixteen year old Auckland school girl Kayla Cullen is one of twelve players named in the under-21 netball side to compete at the world cup in the Cook Islands in August.

The side includes six players currently competing in the trans Tasman competition.

Cullen's inclusion is subject to passing a fitness test.

Twenty countries will compete in the tournament with New Zealand the current champions after winning the previous world youth tournament in 2005.

The full team is: Hannah Broederlow, Alanah Cassidy, Emily Close, Hayley Crofts, Kayla Cullen, Paula Griffin, Charlotte Kight, Camilla Lees, Jess McCormack, Jess Moulds, Grace Rasmussen, Te Huinga Reo Selby-Rickit.
