The Wellington Saints have beaten the Christchurch Cougars 77-68 in their National Basketball League clash in Christchurch, while in Auckland North Harbour thrashed Manawatu 122-71.
While the Saints will be happy with the round 10 victory, the Cougars importantly take the series between the two teams, which could have implications come play-off time should they be tied on the table.
At the North Shore Events Centre North Harbour sent the Manawatu Jets packing with the 51-point thrashing to well and truly keep their play-off hopes alive.
