The New Zealand cricket coach Andy Moles says he's unconcerned several leading players have had little match play in the IPL, ahead of the Twenty-20 world cup in England.

A depleted New Zealand cricket side heads to England to prepare for the world cup on Sunday, with the seven players involved in the IPL joining the squad from South Africa.

Kyle Mills, Jesse Ryder, Scott Styris and Jacob Oram have had little or no matchplay but Moles says they're better off being there than here.

New Zealand's opening match of the tournament is against the reigning Twenty-20 champions India at Lord's on June 2nd.
