The Harbour Heat have made it two from two in three days with a comfortable 84-76 win over Dynamos Taranaki in New Plymouth.

The win moves the Heat to 6 and 5 on the season and comfortably inside the top six play-off positions.

On the back of a consistent team effort on offence, the Heat backed up after Friday night's big win over the Jets with a closer and yet still controlled win over the luckless Taranaki.

The Nelson Giants lead the pack after Round 10 on 20 points, with the Saints and Pistons on 18. The Cougars hold fourth with16, while the Heat 12 and Hawks 8 round out the top six. The Jets now sit just in behind the Hawks on 6, though they have played three games more than the team from Napier.
