The big spending French first division rugby club Toulon have confirmed they've signed the injury-prone English first five Jonny Wilkinson on a two year contract.
29 year old Wilkinson is leaving the Newcastle Falcons after 12 years with the northern England club, and his deal with Toulon is reported to be worth up to 1.6 million dollars a year.
Wilkinson played only four club games last season because of a dislocated knee, and he last played for England as a substitute 14 months ago.
