Tew says they have no other option but to take June international during Super 15

The New Zealand Rugby Union chief executive Steve Tew says there is very liitle they can do with the June internationals breaking into their proposed new expanded Super 15 competition.

The expanded Super 15 will start in 2011 with conference play in each country.... teams will now play 16 games each before the play-offs which will now involve 6 teams.

The Super 15 season will now run for 24 weeks from February to August.

Tew says they had no options but to take a 3 week break in June to accomodate the incoming international tours....
